CHRISTMAS!!!!

So I am also late on this Christmas blog, but now that this one is done I will be caught up and try to keep it that way! Miss Journi got a vanity from Santa and LOVED it!! She loves to do hair and make-up on herself and anyone else who will let her. Her vanity talks to her and lights up and she was in heaven that morning talking to herself and doing her hair.

Dray asked for a real 4 wheeler and GOT IT!! He didn't quite understand that it was a "real" four wheeler and I had to explain to him that it was not like his other power wheel driving toys it was for reals, and actually had to have gas, etc. So he went around and told everyone he got a "real" four wheeler that takes "real" gas! haha. He also got his Harry Potter legos that I think he actually liked more than the four wheeler!

Journi still doing her hair, brother tried to give her presents to open and she just ignored him and curled her hair. :)

She did finally open a present and got some new boots...so off came the PJ's and on went her boots. They haven't came off that much since!

And here is Drayton with Santa! I didn't take a lot of pictures from Christmas morning, I mostly did video so I am sorry for slacking on that department.

We had a Christmas Eve Eve party at Grandma Tena and Grandpa Richard's house this year. Here are all the grandkids...

If any of you know Drayton very well you know that Legos are his #1 favorite thing ever....so look what nice Grandma Tena gave him.....1700 Legos???!!!! I know that Denim and I were so excited about that one!!

Miss Journi got some fairy dress ups, she put them on and twirled around all night!

A few weeks before Christmas we had the Cardon Christmas party with the usual nativity play. Drayton was a shepherd and Journi was a wiseman!! hahaha

We had a lot of fun watching them and when Journi had to give baby Jesus her present she had she was a little upset and wanted it back.

Anyway, that is my Christmas post and I hope you all had a Merry Christmas!!! :)

Our traumatic incident!

So it really has been a while on my updating but here I go and I am going to have a few posts. First of all a few months ago we were at my mom's house hanging out and Miss Journi got stuck in her chair!! No one knows how she got stuck in there but me pulling one way and Grandpa pushing the other....she was extremely STUCK!! We were trying not to laugh as she was screaming her head off, but it really was hilarious. Good thing aunt Crystal had the camera near by and could capture this event.

Uncle Jimmy came to the rescue with a huge rusty hand saw, which scared the poor little princess even more, but it was the only way to get her free! Ha ha we still laugh about this every time we are at my mom's house. (and PS this is chair #2 at her NEW house that my children have ruined in a short amount of time).

So Drayton started Kindergarten on the 31st. I can't believe that he is old enough already!!! It is so crazy. He said he had fun and I hope he starts to love it because he really didn't want to go!

Drayton has a tractor that he got for his 3rd birthday and has loved it. Journi has just recently started to ride it herself and loves it. She was on it the other day and I thought about how she used to fit in the bucket! So I wanted to post these pictures to show how much she has grown also!!

So I just have to post some pictures of Journi. She is in to everything as most two year olds are but her two favorite things (besides food) are chapstick and wearing other peoples shoes. So she had some lovely princess chapstick that was bright pink and looked fabulous when she was done with it so I had to post how beautiful she is.....

Trying to get her to look and her silly brother Dray pulls some awesome faces....haha

She just walked out wearing her brothers shoes and socks like it was no big deal; and actually wore them around all night. haha At least she said cheese when I asked.

So quite a few things have happened since a last updated....Miss Journi turned 2!!! I can't believe that she is so big already!! It went by so fast...she is so much fun and all girl for sure. She is very stubborn and funny and talks very well and a lot!! I also am not a very good at down loading the pictures on here cuz they are in the wrong order but oh well at least you get to see them! haha

We got our pictures done for all the moms on mothers day..

He was excited to play but after two games down now I think we are learning that he is a one man/solo sport kinda boy. He wants to get the ball every time and wants to bat last every time so he can run all the bases at once. He reminds me of his Uncle Jimmy....Kinda scary to watch during sports! haha (Sorry Jim)

And for the last event on here, Denim's sister Tami got married in Mesquite. It turned out so pretty and Journi was a flower girl in the wedding ...she looked ADORABLE!! Thanks to aunt Angie who did her hair and Aunt Tami who bought her the cutest dress!!

Dray turned 5!!!

So once again it has been a long time and something big happened.....Mr. Drayton turned FIVE years old!!! I cannot believe that he is that big!!! It went by so fast! I had to take him to register him for Kindergaten which is even crazier!! He is a very smart boy and is big on Spiderman, Batman, Hulk, etc. We had an awesome birthday party for him at Funtime Inflatables and he had a blast! I just can't believe how fast time goes and how smart our 5 year old is!! Happy Birthday Drayton!! (His birthday was March 5th so I need to really work on keeping up on this blogging!!)

His DS that he asked and asked for and now plays a lot...crazy mom I am didn't even know that he would know how to play one of these!!! And he plays it a lot especially since Grandma Christa bought him a cooking game...all of you that know Dray know that he LOVES to cook! haha he doesn't eat much but he sure loves to make you whatever you want! He also asked for (and got) a cupcake maker and cake maker. Now he just says that he is missing a donut maker and ice cream maker haha

Another story that happend is little Miss Journi had an accident. She was at daycare when she tripped and fell and hit her eye on the corner of a recliner chair!! I got the call and was freaking out a little bit since I am a very crazy mom; but she turned out to be just fine after making sure no stitches were needed and just looked scary! She even smiled for me though! :)

Now she is 100% better...she did have an ugly black eye for a week or so but is back to being cute as ever!! I will post some more pictures soon so you all can see!!!

It has been a long time....

So it has been a long time since I have updated this thing. I need to try to stay on top of it because my life is crazy and my kids are growing so fast and I love to share it with everyone (well those of you who look at this blog :) Anyway so the following are a bunch of random pictures I have taken since the last update.

Here is Dray and Journi in the tub...we take a LOT of tubs and showers at my house because both of my kids are water babies!! So this first picture is Journi and me asking her are you ready to get out? and she just yells NO! and then laughs...

Journi also has an obsession with wearing other peoples' sox and shoes. When she gets home she takes off her own and puts on whoevers are near her.... this first pictures is of my sox and she had them on all night it is so funny to see her in them. She also is a little bit orphan looking with her hair and no shirt but that is ok.. it adds personality.

This is another one but with Daddy's sock on...

I know this is a lot about Journi but she just is so funny and I take a lot of pictures of her so I promise next blog I will get more of Drayton.
Journi loves to eat....and she finally has more teeth...her bottom three in the front, two upper front and the gap between them is big enough for two more in between....also all of her molars. I just love this picture because her face is so dirty and you can see the BIG gap!!!

So we had a great Halloween!! It was fun seeing Drayton this year not be so scared of EVERYTHING!! He actually was pretty scary himself!

Here he is Mr. Skeleton...

Journi was scared of him at first and then she just wanted to hit his face and bones!
She was a fairy or something with wings and a cute skirt that Aunt Crystal made for her!

I also got to tend Hunter and Angies boys the other night and it was so fun, but A LOT of work!! I can't believe how much of a difference it makes with two babies the same age!! They are such good little friends and followed each other around. SO Cute!!!

And the story behind these next few pictures....... Grandma Connie found some of her old mittens at Grandma Mary's house and let Journi have them and now Journi LOVES the mittens!! She wore them forever and now when she sees them at home she wants them on. And the funniest pictures below are just to show you how AWFUL and CRAZY her hair is!! She was blessed with the most awkward cowlick on the back of her head that pushes all of her hair forward and it is so funny and out of control!!! The poor girl will never be able to wear her hair down!!!

So the end of last month my great grandma Mary (grandma Connies mom) passed away. I have a few pictures from the funeral and stuff that I wanted to post about, and also so I could show off my cute kids!! :)

Here is a FIVE generation picture. We have many of these as every time we went up to Tremonton we would take one, but this is the only one I could find on my computer so I am sure my mom will kill me as she is not looking at the camera and doesnt like her picture taken..or posted of course!!! (Sorry mom ;)

Update...its been a while!

So it has been a while since I have blogged, here are a few random pics to show what we have been doing......
First of all Journi was in the baby contest in Parowan at the fair. I have put both of my kids in every year and they have never won but they still are the cutest babies in my world!!!!
Journi's nice aunt Crystal made her costume this year (she is a bumblebee) it turned out so cute! And here she is with her ususal "happy face" as always and her cute aunt Kayda.

And here they are riding the rides...actually the one ride cuz if you know Dray he is kindof a fraidy cat!! But they liked the boats. Well Dray did and I think Journi did but she still just has the same usual look on her face. haha

This is a random picutre, but it was funny so I had to share. We hadn't heard from her in a bit so I went to check on her and she was in Draytons room in his chair asleep.

And I also had to share some of her eating some Spaghetti O's. She is a good eater!!

Dray gets his toes done!

So I don't mean got his toes done like I get my toes done but he had some ingrown toe nails that were awful and my nice boss, Dr. Delcore, cut them out yesterday for him!! They had to put him out which was kinda sad but he did so good and he is running around like usual and has had no pain whatsoever!! Good job big boy!!!

So Drayton started pre-school this week at Mrs. Clark's Little Star Pre-School. He is so excited to go and I am so excited for him, although it makes me a little sad that he is that old already!!!

So this picture is quite small but I wanted to post it to show off how cute my sisters are and how proud I am of them both. Crystal ran for Miss Iron County this year and got 2nd attendant. She did an awesome dance for her talent that was dedicated to my uncle Tommy, of course it had the whole audience bawling but it was beautiful. She did awesome on everything and I was so glad to be there and proud of her!!!! (Of course I am proud of my littlest sis too, Kayla) ;)

So as most of you all know the bow hunt started last week!! That means my husband is gone pretty much the rest of the year. So for the fourth of July we had a fun day. I took the children to the parade and then we went to Angie's for a BBQ and fun!! I have trouble loading the pictures right so they are not in good order, but here it goes......

So Miss Journi loves food, I mean every kind of food. We have not found one thing that she will not eat! And she still has NO TEETH!!! It is so funny because she loves everything! Well she came on a quick trip to St. George with my mom and me and we went to lunch. I decided lets see what she does with a lemon.... I got my camera ready to get the "funny sour face".....

Nothing! Just a little squint of the eyes and then nothing. She actually went back for more of the lemon!!! haha I can't believe my little eater!! Because if most of you know Drayton he will eat just about nothing...maybe four or five things and that is all!!!

So I haven't updated for quite a while so I figured I would put a new pic up of the kidos! They both are getting so big so fast and are a lot of fun! Drayton also had swimming lessons again. He and his two good friends, Kenlee and Jaylee took lessons together. All three are getting good and Drayton wants to swim all the time now!

So miss Journi turned one years old on Saturday! I cant believe it has already been a year. She only weighs 21 lbs and is quite little. I took her to the doctor today for her one year old shots and she hated me for it! She is walking all over and loves to follow her big brother around everywhere (even though he doesn't like it sometimes). She is spoiled rotten and still the same old onry girl most of the time! haha. We love her so much and I cant even believe that it has already been a whole year!!! Here are some pictures of her party and I obviously loaded the pictures in wrong cuz it is the totally wrong order but oh well.. some day I will figure out blogging!!

Well I wanted to post some funny pictures of "where's Journi" but I dont really know how to work the whole blogging thing so they are out of order. Journi is starting to walk now and gets into everything!! One of her favorite places is in the dishwasher! I had to take some pictures of her in there to show you how good of a hider she is! The other pictures are from Lake Las Vegas this weekend. We went to watch my cousing compete in a tri-athalon and let the kids swim. They had so much fun and it was so nice to get away for the weekend!! Journi's birthday is on Saturday so hopefully I will get a birthday post up soon after that!

First of all I dont have very many pictures of Easter, as we really didn't do anything to fun. On Easter we went to Denim's sisters house for a BBQ and Journi watched the boys play the Wii. It was so funny how concentrated she was on the game. She wouldn't even look at me when I tried to take her picture!!

So I needed to post these pictures of my naughty little girl. I was finishing getting ready this morning and she was in the living room waiting for me to get her ready. Well her big brother loves cookies and he had left some nice chocolatey oreos out on the table and Journi got a hold of them!! Just look at what she looked like!! It was all over her arms and legs from crawling and not to mention my carpet!! So needless to say I was late for work as I had to get her in the tub!!!

Drayton turned 4 yesterday! It is so crazy that he is already that old! We had a party lasty night for him and he got so much stuff. He is really into Hanny Manny right now and actually thinks that he is Handy Manny. He loves to use his tools to fix things and take things apart. He is also into legos and got a hugh lego crane and a big box of other legos that uncle Jim helped him build some things with. Dray was in heaven! He is getting so big so fast and I can't even believe it, and what is even crazier is that Journi will be 1 in only two months!!!!

So Journi tourned 9 months on Monday and I just though I would post some cute ones that I took that day. She loves food so much and I gave her a biter biscuit and couldnt find it...it was stuck in her neck!! haha It was so funny! By the time I got my camera out it was starting to fall out but it shows how nice and dirty she gets when she eats!! She went to the doctor and now weighs 19 lbs 11 oz so she is getting bigger! It is so hard because her "boyfriends" Hunter and Kash are younger than her and both are WAY bigger than her!! She is my little tiny girlie! We love her so much, and can't believe that she is almost ONE!!! (not to mention her cute older brother will be 4!! in less than a month!)

So yesterday 2-11-09 was my mom's birthday! We went to the Garden House for dinner and it was so good! We had a lot of fun! I got some cute pics of my fam! So on Superbowl Sunday we went to Denim's sisters house to watch the game. My family is pretty big on football, although our team sucked and didn't make it close to the end, but here are a few pics to show you our team spirit and how cute my little football family is!! We are Denver fans if ya can't tell!! And Journi is a rare smiler so in all the other pics besides the smiling one you can sure tell she is one onry girl! ALWAYS!! haha. She is so fun though.
